  • Summary:

Transmission, duty of memory, heritage: this intergenerational youth comic takes us into the history of Struthof, the only Nazi concentration camp existing on current French territory.
Simon’s school, a 3rd grade student, offers to organize a school trip to Struthof, a former Nazi concentration camp. In need of companions, Simon calls on his maternal grandmother, Rose. This is the opportunity for the latter to delve into this dark part of History that her parents and grandparents were harshly confronted with. And it is through old archive albums and thick notebooks written by her mother that Rose prepares the visit to the camp to best accompany Simon.
The comic strip will alternate on the one hand extracts from the diary of Mathilda, Rose’s mother, and on the other hand the preparation for this visit by Simon and his friend Nadia.
A historical comic book for children aged 8 and up.
This work received the “Mission Libération” label.
