Summary:
A compilation of ILYA’s semi-regular ‘CARTOON HISTORY’ feature as published in New Internationalist magazine. The true horrors beyond Horrible Histories, more terrible than any that can be imagined. Crimes against humanity, Human Rights abuses, post-colonial malaise, Military Manoeuvres and Freedom Fighters.
Proposed as a series of four 48-64 page albums, or alternatively as a large-scale single volume collection. The existing 4- to 5-page text-heavy episodes will be radically expanded to better function as sequential narrative comic strips.
