Summary:
The cool cowboy Cocco Bill prefers camomile tea to whiskey and otherwise goes his own way: Together with his smoking horse Slowtrott, Cocco Bill ensures justice in the Wild West. In the episodes collected here, he saves Bobbe City from the Apaches, has to deal with a doppelganger, fights pirates in the Caribbean and travels through snowy Canada.
The peace-loving western hero, who takes down his opponents with witty verbal duels rather than smoking guns, first appeared in the publication Il Vittorioso in 1957. Since then, he has been a staple in every Italian comic magazine. In total, the Italian cartoonist Benito Jacovitti created more than 2000 incredibly detailed Cocco Bill pages using his very own technique – each line of his drawings consists of many, wafer-thin pen strokes.
This western parody is chock full of slapstick, daring adventure plots, cool sayings and explosive duels. Unmistakable fun for all ages. Devils and guns!
